We are excited for you stay at our home away from home, Chateau de Weiss. Located in the Edgewater community in Granby this 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom cabin is a mountain retreat. You can walk to the town of Granby which offers a variety of restaurants and shops. Edgewater community offers access to private flyfishing as well as three stocked trout ponds.

If you are scheduled for time at our cabin, Taryn will text you the address and code for the key as well as the code for the hot tub.

Please enjoy our cabin. Help yourself to anything in the fridge or pantry. Just replace what you use for the next guest.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER: When leaving please return the thermostat to the temperature it was at when you got there. Please remove the sheets from the beds used and leave them with any towels used on the floor. If you are going to be paying the cleaning fee, please leave $160 in cash for Holly, our amazing cleaning lady.

If you know Mark, then you know he likes to eat! So we have checked out several of the local restaurants. Below are our top choices:

• Mavericks Grille – great for lunch and dinner, large portions, best green chili.
• Grand Azteca Mexican Restaurant – we are pretty picky when it comes to Mexican food having lived in San Diego. This one is legit!
• The Cafe @ Fitch Ranch Meats & Market – we haven’t eaten here yet but friends have told us it’s AMAZING. They have odd hours.

We love this area in the summer. There are so many outdoor options to choose from. But here are a few of our favorites:

• Paddleboarding at Lake Granby
• Flyfishing – we have used the same guide the past few trips
• Hiking
  • Strawberry Lake – beautiful hike to do in the morning
• Mountain Biking at Granby Ranch

We all know Mark isn’t a skier but he has tried some winter activities. Taryn is the skier and recommends Winter Park for skiing.

• Snowshoeing and Cross Country Skiing – our favorite spot is Snow Mountain Ranch YMCA. This place is amazing! Great people. Not alot of people.
